WHO AM I?
ELLIE HALABIAN, DDS
I am a general dentist, educator, and podcast host based in New York City. I graduated with distinction from NYU College of Dentistry and completed my residency with a passion to make a difference in the field. I began my career at a FQHC and went on to work in multiple high-volume, insurance-based practices—where I quickly experienced the hidden challenges of clinical dentistry and practice life.
These real-world lessons led me to launch Teeth Matter—a podcast built for dentists and dental entrepreneurs. With over 1,800 followers and growing, the platform offers raw, honest conversations about career decisions, ownership, burnout, and redefining success in dentistry. I currently practice part-time in NYC and serve as adjunct faculty at NYU College of Dentistry, where I teach first-year students the fundamentals of restorative dentistry and hand skills. My mission is to support the next generation of dentists in building careers that are both fulfilling and future-focused.
